I know #Spinel is indeed super pretty, but I just can’t get past the “grows on dead bodies, fossils and coffins” thing along with “changing into even more cool colors as it oxidizes” with #Vivianite. How can you not love that? I am #TeamViv all the way in #MinCup24.

Today, it's #vivianite vs #spinel in #MinCup24. Although vivianite is a real beauty I will stick to spinel. It's a gemstone which lends its name to a whole group of minerals and materials with the general formula AB2O4. 📷 Wikipedia
